Liberation, Freedom, Independence
Liberation, or freedom, is all in the mind.
The limited conditional physical body is inevitably not free, being limited and restricted by time (impermanent changes), space (can only be at one place at a time), and causation (cause and effect). That cannot be modified. It is what it is.
The mind also 'can appear to be' not free, being limited and restricted by ignorance, egoism and impurities, as well as being conditioned and limited by certain worldly egoistic conditional thinking, belief/disbelief, ideas, values, and practice, and hence, it is being limited by time (impermanent changes of restless thoughts activities), space (the mind perception of a selfless impermanent worldly life existence under a limited physical body is limited by space, on top of being determined by past memories and future wild imaginations), and causation (cause and effect, being supported and influenced by energy to be existing and functioning), however, all that can be transcended, where the thinking mind can be free from being limited or determined by its own modification/function or the mind perception of everything, void of ignorance, egoism and impurities, unlimited by worldly egoistic conditional thinking, belief, ideas, values and practice, and transcending time, space and causation, in silence, or Samadhi.
And hence, all these yoga and/or buddhism practice are here to help the mind to attain or realize liberation or freedom, in the present moment now.
Happiness or unhappiness, satisfaction or dissatisfaction, meaningfulness or meaninglessness, goodness or badness, rightfulness or wrongfulness, positiveness or negativeness, the presence of freedom or the absence of freedom, are all happening in the mind. They are not in the names and forms that the mind perceives through the senses via the sense organs through the physical body, or the life experiences, or the ties and relationships, or the commitments, duties and responsibilities, or the environment, conditions and situations, or the worldly egoistic affairs/activities/ideas/creations/beliefs/values/practices/rules and regulations/corruptions/discrimination/separateness/violence/hurtful damaging behaviors deriving from ignorance and egoism in the minds.
All and everything, is in the mind, in the present moment now.
Heaven or hell, is in this present moment now, in this mind.
Peaceful, or not peaceful, is in this present moment now, in this mind.
Free, or not free, is in this present moment now, in this mind.
It's about how the mind understands and reacts towards all and everything that the mind perceives or experiences in this present moment now.
None can give or take away liberation or freedom to and from this mind.
It's coming from this mind itself, whether it is free, or not free, in this present moment.
Attachment arise, the mind is not free, regardless of what type of attachment.
Devoid of attachment, the mind is free, as it is.
Upon the presence of ignorance and egoism, the mind is not free.
Upon the absence of ignorance and egoism, the mind is free.
It's not about conquering or changing (controlling) the world to be or not to be in certain way, it's about conquering or changing (modifying) this mind, by itself, alone, vigilantly annihilating the idea of 'I', ignorance, egoism, impurities, restlessness, and mental or emotional dependency.
The mind is not free because of the idea of "I want to be free." - Remove the 'I' and 'want to be' (the ego, and the desire of craving and aversion), the mind is free as it is.
Inquire the truth of everything.
